Three brilliant blue and marbled green Turquoise stones set in hand fabricated, brightly polished silver. Featuring a substantial infinity twist band and silver granulation, which captures light at every angle.
I rescued these stones from a dusty antique store cabinet. The shop keeper helped me identify them as Persian turquoise (now Iran). Persian Turquoise has been mined for over 5000 years. It was a coveted gemstone introduced to Europe and Asia by the Silk Road. In addition to other protective properties, ancient Persian's felt the depth of color invoked a feeling of earthly connection to heaven.

Gazing upon turquoise, amidst swirling blues and greens, segmented by the sandy earth matrix, I see oceans and continents. Each stone holds uncharted seas and mythical islands awaiting your discovery.
Terra Capsule features the many hues of turquoise, radiant citrine, and deep aventurine stones. Infinity twist bands with their sweeping curves further draw the eye with an illusion of movement. Granulated silver spheres cast reflections in every direction. The Terra Capsule is an expression of my appreciation for earth, water, and light.
